Google Maps new feature - My Maps

Today I figured out a new feature that Google Maps has put out. It is pretty cool. You can tag your own places - not only a simple pinpoint but you can mark out an area with a polygon ! I like the feature. It is also really good ’cause you can associate a picture (any rich content - HTML) with that mark !

What I did was to combine all the panoramas that I have taken (all arent marked yet) and mark the spot from where I took that panorama (or any other photo). Here is the link to my maps - they are all public.

God of War

I just finished playing God of War II a few nights ago and it was awesome ! For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, check out the article on God of War at Wikipedia . God of War is one of the best PS2 games that I have ever played !I can’t wait for the next one - however the 3rd one (and maybe the final one) will come out on the PS3 - I have to get that by then - I think I have 2 years at least for that - whew ! However, there is a God of War coming out for the PSP - that should be interesting too !
I finished the game in exactly a week - that is a record for me. The playing time was approximately 24 hours - a lot of which was spent replaying parts of it ’cause the game is not exactly easy ! I think I enjoyed the story line of God of War I much more, however the gameplay of God of War II was much better - the end of course was left hanging as expected - The tag line for the game had already exposed that - “The End Begins”. The end does not end in GOW II though ;)
To come to think of it - I really never knew about this game at one point of time but once I saw this video - my gaming experience would radically change !! Its the Hydra boss fight.

Ok - the gameplay in the video above looks really easy - thats probably because the user was playing the game in “Easy” level but it is much tougher and more enjoyable !

Here is some more video of the gameplay…Enjoy !

I love to live in the Bay Area - the weather is awesome (most of the times at least ;) ). But that is not the only reason I love to live here - There are so many nice places around to go to. It is a photographer’s paradise here ! If you go North from the valley you have San Francisco. Further North there is Lake Tahoe. To the East there is Berkeley. Further East there is Yosemite and the Sierras. To the West there is Skyline Ridge and Half Moon Bay ! To the South there is Monterey. Further South there is Big Sur ! WOW - that is a pretty impressive list all around ! I bet I am missing out some more cool places !

Anyways, as an avid photographer myself, I have taken a lot of Panoramas (yes - I love the wide angle views !) around the Bay. Here are panoramas from around the Bay - I never get tired of shooting Panoramas !!

North :

Bay Bridge from Treasure Island

Further North :

South :

Further South :
